International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO)The UK has been competing at the IMO since 1967. Since 1991 this participation has been organised by the BMOC/BMOS; each year, a Leader’s report is produced. Some other reports are also available where more than one report, or unofficial reports, were produced for a given year. At the end of the Trinity olympiad training and selection camp, a squad of about ten people is selected, from which the final team of 6 and a first reserve are selected at the IMO selection camp at the end of May. At the IMO, there are two papers, each of three questions, with each question marked out of 7 points. For past papers, see the official IMO site.
Some past UK IMO selection tests are available. |
